Welcome Back Students!

My name is Mrs. Pacini and I have been a teacher for 18 years.  I have three children!  They are all boys.  They keep me very busy. This year is going to be wonderful!  I am so excited to get to know all of you.

Language Arts:  We will be using Reading streets.  This is a comprehensive program that will promote comprehension, inferencing, and grammer skills.  This program also encompasses writing as well.  Focus will be on persuasive and expository writing.  We will also do at least one novel this year.  Students will love the choices and I hope to promote a love of reading.  Homework will be issued. 

Math:Students will use a variety of math curriculum including Common Core Standards based practice and Renaissance Learning.  Homework will be issued. 

Social Studies:Seventh Grade Social Studies focuses on the historical periods called the Renaissance, the Reformation and the Age of Enlightenment. Be ready to explore these times through literature, food, textiles, music and art.

Science:Seventh Grade Science topics focus on the systems of the human body. Come ready to explore!
